All the way in Afghanistan, yet you find a way to call me and be the first to wish me a happy birthday. I love you so much baby. Thank you for making today officially special.
44 DAYS. 44. That’s it, then my baby will be coming home to me! I’m so happy right now absolutely nothing can take me down. Holy shit fuck I’m so excited!Fourty-Four days and he’ll be back home, safe. I’ll be able have him in my arms again, I’ll be able to kiss him, hug him, hold him, look into his beautiful eyes, see that precious smile I’ve been longing to see. My life will be perfect. I will for once be able to say I’m happy. I’m at peace. I’m complete. Let’s have the count down begin!
The highlight of my summer;
Painting the barn for our troops, and for my Andrew. It may look blank right now, but on the red side, there’s over 100 signatures thanking not only Andrew for his service, but all those who honor our counrty and put their lives down for our freedom each and every day. Living in small town, Minnesota, it was amazing to have people hear about this and drive from all over the country to simply sign, and support our troops. We even had two different news stations, and the local paper come out too. This simple little act has truly moved me. Families come from all over sharing their photos, stories and a little piece of their lives with us has been a heart warming expirience. I feel truly blessed.
